The 2021 brief for One Young World challenged us to show why funding young leaders is so critical. One of the best examples we could think of was the recent American election. While we were all thrilled to see Biden win—a glimmer of hope in dark times—it hit us: he’s only a few months shy of the U.S. life expectancy. Awkward.

No Country For Old Men plays on this insight. We can’t afford to relax just yet, because we may need the next generation of leaders sooner than we think.
